@cuneyto, That's surprising. I use Chrome and FF all the time and it looks fine in both. Try increasing the width of the widget or check if you are zooming in the browser page to cause the overlaps.

Thanks for supporting this app - but the new 3.2 update, it does not seem to work properly with y Google Chrome Netvibes landing page. It requires multiple lines for each index as they seem to be "running over.' Works fine on Safari. Thoughts?

@jk9, thanks for the tip to enter a number first then the minus sign. That worked. This is a great widget!

Thank you @mistered!!

@jk9 - I just wanted to say thanks for continuing to support this widget and enhancing it with new features. Most useful widget by far!
6 | Posted by jk9 | 05/02/2018 5:13:27
@klemke, different browsers have different behaviors for a numeric input field. In most cases, I'd suggest you to enter a valid number first and then add minus symbol at the beginning. Hope that trick works out.
7 | Posted by klemke | 04/02/2018 21:42:10
Another post on shorting. I checked and version 3.2.0 is showing as my version. I entered a stock SC, that went down on Friday. I was not able to enter a - sign in front of my quantity. I could enter a minus number of shares by using the down arrow in the quantity box, but it only moves a hundredth at a time, so it is not practical to try to get to a -300 number of shares. I did a test with a -1 share and the minus sign does show in the holdings tab, which is correct. I just need to be able to type in a minus sign in front of the quantity. Thanks.
8 | Posted by klemke | 04/02/2018 21:20:01
About my last post on short, maybe the minus is there. I think I have a cached version showing up. If so, sorry about by erroneous post.
9 | Posted by klemke | 04/02/2018 21:12:50
Thanks for the update, especially the minus shares for shorting! Could you also put a minus sign in front of the number of shares on the Holdings tab? Thanks.

@ jk9 Thanks for the quick response!
11 | Posted by jk9 | 03/02/2018 7:26:26
@gregstumph, I have submitted a new version (v3.2.0) that supports DJI. As noted earlier, existing versions might take time to get auto updated as netvibes is serving the cached copy of the widget. If you need this urgently, you can add a new instance and migrate over your data from the older instance.
12 | Posted by gregstumph | 01/02/2018 20:53:17
Any update on releasing a new version that supports the DJI index?
13 | Posted by jk9 | 26/12/2017 16:38:12
@van4, looks like DJI is now supported with the new APIs. I shall remove the restrictions from within the app in a next update soon.
14 | Posted by van4 | 24/12/2017 4:41:24
Will the DJIA ever be added somehow, not just 1/100. . .? Thanks.
15 | Posted by jk9 | 08/12/2017 2:57:39
@klemke, Thanks, I'll consider supporting this for a future release.
16 | Posted by klemke | 07/12/2017 17:21:29
Great app. Could you add the ability to enter a negative number of shares in the Holdings? This would allow the entry of a short position. Then calculate value so that as the stock price declines, the gain would go up. Thanks.
17 | Posted by jk9 | 29/11/2017 15:52:21
@vexarax, looks like you are using an older version of the widget. Current version as of today is 3.1.2 (displayed on the bottom right corner). Like I said, netvibes is no longer auto upgrading the apps and instead serving older versions via cache. If you wish to manually upgrade, re-add the new widget instance and migrate the data from the older instance onto newer instance using the Options menu.
18 | Posted by vexarax | 29/11/2017 8:24:21
Seems to be broken for weeks now. Takes forever for the stocks to update.
19 | Posted by jk9 | 29/11/2017 2:43:45
@all, looks like netvibes is no longer auto upgrading the apps even though the hosted URLs reflect the latest version. I have resubmitted version 3.1.x and request all to manually re-add and migrate your data if you haven't yet done so.
20 | Posted by jk9 | 29/11/2017 2:41:24
Thank you @samhande! Hope you have restarted using ver 3.1.x or higher.

@all, Starting 11/1, Yahoo! Finance web services have been terminated. I'll post my feedback on the app after my initial research.

As of some time earlier today, I'm getting Invalid Service Response, and am unable to see any data other than Headlines.
26 | Posted by duthieg | 02/11/2017 8:53:57
Is this widget still supported? It hasn't been able to retrieve any data for a while now and I notice there has been no comments on it for over a month. It would be a shame to see it go - it's been very useful in the past.
27 | Posted by jk9 | 29/09/2017 3:11:20
@user844521031, that's bad and should not happen unless something went wrong with your data in the netvibes profile. You should export the dashboard XML and inspect to confirm if you have any recoverable data. Haven't heard anyone else reporting such problems.
28 | Posted by jk9 | 29/09/2017 3:06:19
@dbsanders, The source code repository was experiencing outages since last couple of days. The services have been restored now and the widgets should work as normal.

After a couple days of "Widget HTTP Error" and the invalid URL message, it started working again this afternoon. Unfortunately all the data I had entered is gone. All the stocks, # of shares, cost, etc are missing.

"Widget HTTP Error" Is it just me? Started a couple days ago occasionally, now constant. This widget cannot be displayed cause of invalid url.

Yahoo finance API is not available anymore. I have moved to MarketXLS after this change, much more reliable data.

@rdcence, I don't think iChart is back online. I just tried the below sample lookup and it is still returning error: Error Description: Could not process this "GET" request.
33 | Posted by rdcence | 15/06/2017 13:53:23
So it looks like is up again which is good. Unfortunately the Default Chart View is “Chart with 1 Day” AND the only view (can’t see 1 year, 1 week, etc.) Any ideas? (I hope it’s not my end in the form of RTFM :-)
34 | Posted by jk9 | 22/05/2017 3:45:35
@scrampy, it seems is down for the past 4 days which is causing the chart image not to load. The error in the page indicates that it might come back, but there are few discussion on the yahoo forums that this service is being discontinued and shutdown.
35 | Posted by scrampy | 19/05/2017 18:53:24
I'm not sure if this is affecting only me, but for about a week(?) the graphs are not loading, and are showing a "broken GIF" icon in the viewer. The number are updating so it looks like a rendering issue - any tips?
36 | Posted by jk9 | 12/01/2017 4:35:51
Thank you @duthieg, the widget uses multiple web services to retrieve various types of information and not all the services are available in the secure mode at this time. While I shall consider updating the supported services to secure mode in a future update and eventually make the widget accessible via secure protocol, I'd like to assure you that, even currently, all your data and holdings info are stored and accessed securely and NOT sent to any external web services besides the symbols alone. All the portfolio table data and profit maps are computed and generated locally within your netvibes login.
37 | Posted by duthieg | 11/01/2017 14:55:56
This is one of the most useful apps anywhere on NetVibes and definately the best stock portfolio widget by far. However, there is just one caveat to that: Any chance of an "SSL" version of this (i.e. allow it to run over a secure "https:" connection)? Netvibes itself supports SSL, as does It would certainly broaden it's reach, internet security being such a major issue these days.

gm! Just wanted to say thanks for all the help and it's working now (API fetch method - Server based)
40 | Posted by jk9 | 23/11/2016 17:23:27
That's correct @vintageveloce, Server based method uses Netvibes UWA apis to proxy fetch the yahoo feed info where as Browser based method directly queries yahoo feed info. Both approaches has merits and demerits and that's why I'm keeping all options open so users can pick and choose the best that works.
41 | Posted by vintageveloce | 23/11/2016 4:11:52
jk9, that worked (the server based fetch)! Thanks! Have loved the apps for years. Thank you! Hey, can you give me a short description of the difference between server based and browser based? Does server based mean it goes through some kind of proxy?
42 | Posted by jk9 | 22/11/2016 23:13:27
@vintageveloce, I guess if you can adjust your widget settings to use "Server Based" fetch method, it might resolve the issue with Chrome browser. There has been reports that some users were unable to retrieve data using "Browser based" setting in certain browsers.
43 | Posted by vintageveloce | 22/11/2016 7:00:19
Seems like this app stopped working with the google Chrome browser for me. But it does seem to still work in Safari. Any tips?
44 | Posted by jk9 | 18/11/2016 19:20:55
@rdcence, Browser based option showing error indicates that your local network is not allowing access to Pl see if it can be resolved at your end. Also, check if adding a new instance of the widget resolves the issue. I can help you migrating the data. At the moment, all server based calls are experiencing bad gateway errors which might be something that Netvibes platform has to resolve.
45 | Posted by rdcence | 17/11/2016 17:15:33
I tried Switching to Server Based and then back to Browser Based and still getting the error message: An Error occurred while fetching the details... Invalid Service Response I also tried clearing the cache. Any other ideas to try?
46 | Posted by scrampy | 09/11/2016 14:22:54
Switching to Server Based fixed the issue for me - thanks!
47 | Posted by dbsanders | 25/10/2016 19:59:02
@jk9, Thanks it works again!
48 | Posted by jk9 | 25/10/2016 17:48:11
@all, I added additional parameters for the API fetch methods as part of v2.8.1. It appears to be working fine for me now.
49 | Posted by jk9 | 25/10/2016 17:11:31
@all, as the error message indicates, Yahoo finance APIs are responding with either no data or sometimes cached (old) data. There is no change to the original widget, except that I have introduced all kinds of ways to fetch the data. Refreshing the widget holding down the "Shift" key improves for me. Also noticed that Chrome and Safari loads better with Browser based fetch method. If things doesn't improve soon from Yahoo side, I'll consider adding auto-retry mechanism and see if that helps. All widgets using this source has the same issues.
50 | Posted by gregstumph | 25/10/2016 16:14:42
Also not working for the last several days for me. With either "browser based" or "server based" setting, I get a blank app.
51 | Posted by dbsanders | 25/10/2016 15:34:20
Like mutlee, mine stopped working as well. Was there a major change?
52 | Posted by mutlee | 25/10/2016 3:25:49
On update to version 2.8.0 this widget has stopped working completely. The browser based setting produces this: "An Error occured while fetching the details... Invalid Service Response" The server based option produces a blank widget.
53 | Posted by jk9 | 16/10/2016 2:36:27
Yes @techgrh, that's a new option introduced in the recent release. For most users, the browser based option should work fine, but for some users like you need to use server based option. I'm glad that both options are made as configurable.
54 | Posted by techgrh | 15/10/2016 21:34:34
Thanks jk9, never had to change that in the past, must be the new version.
55 | Posted by jk9 | 15/10/2016 19:56:51
@techgrh, looks like your local network is blocking access for yahoo api services. Go to widget settings, set the "API Fetch Method" option to "Server Based" and see if it resolves your problem.
56 | Posted by techgrh | 15/10/2016 17:01:25
Latest update seems to have wiped everything out again, just getting a blank screen. Deleted and added, but no help. Allows stocks to be added, they show up in "view data", but no display.
57 | Posted by mattedsmith | 30/09/2016 8:20:22
@jk9 Everything seems to be working this morning, and thanks for the tip about multiple instances. Appreciate your work on this widget and your help.
58 | Posted by jk9 | 29/09/2016 20:14:31
@mattedsmith, Prices for the symbols traded in London Stock Exchange, when quoted in "GBp" (NOT GBP) or "GBX" are in pence. Look for the currency in the summary panel to confirm. You can verify this directly on LSE website. If you have multi currency portfolio, it's better to separate the data into different instance of the widget so that the calculations are accurate. Also, the widget does not identify if a market is open or close. The last price will be grayed out only if the last traded time of the symbol is more than 12 hours of the current system time. Check if your system time is changing which is the reference for the widget to show in gray vs. black color.
59 | Posted by mattedsmith | 29/09/2016 16:31:00
Refresh is working now but the widget thinks the UK and German markets are still open. Is this a time zone issue?
60 | Posted by mattedsmith | 29/09/2016 7:27:52
@jk9 thanks. My European shares are: German - VOW.DE, DAI.DE, PAH3.DE UK - BKG.L, RDSA.L, RDSB.L Problem with refresh is still persisting and I've tried clearing caches, etc. Also, the London shares seem to use UK pence as the monitory unit which does very funky things to the holdings screen (eg a £19 RSDA share shows as 1900)
61 | Posted by jk9 | 28/09/2016 17:14:53
@ajoskubik, by the way, if you are using netvibes app on mobile or using to access it, then there's a known issue that netvibes do not store and sync the data unless you keep the page running for certain time. If you use tablet device or desktop, I suggest you use page instead of Hope that helps...
62 | Posted by jk9 | 28/09/2016 17:10:15
@ajoskubik, how do you exit the widget? Are you closing it before adding it to the dashboard or removing the widget from the dashboard to exit? Please note that the data gets stored only if the widget is in the dashboard.
63 | Posted by ajoskubik | 28/09/2016 10:23:15
Hi there. Every time I exit the widget, to head over to a different section of my app module, the information and data I input erases...any suggestions on the fix to this? GREAT WIDGET BTW! A++++ Work
64 | Posted by jk9 | 27/09/2016 16:12:01
Thanks @mattedsmith. If you could share or email me the symbols that's causing this, I can run it with old and new APIs and get back to you. So far, I use US symbols and it has always shown the correct info. I also haven't received any other reports from the users having similar problems.
65 | Posted by mattedsmith | 27/09/2016 12:47:01
Thanks for this app, it's really useful and I use it many time each day. For the last couple of days it's not been refreshing with the latest prices. The 'Last' column is often grey as if the markets had closed and the previous close price is shown. Very infrequently a refresh will fix this, but more often than not it won't. This is happening across UK and EU stock.
66 | Posted by jk9 | 26/09/2016 16:58:01
@techgrh, thanks for pointing it out. I had never tried the entries to the lower side of the limit! Will get it resolved in a next maintenance update.
67 | Posted by techgrh | 24/09/2016 16:58:41
Latest version has a bug. You must have at least 2 items in order for anything to appear. Normally I would delete the 3 default averages and just display the stock I am watching. Trial and error proved I needed at least 2 items, else the display is blank.
68 | Posted by jk9 | 28/07/2016 21:07:39
@johntreagan, the data for all 3 tabs is managed within Watchlist itself. Watchlist is the master for all the tabs in the widget. If you already have symbols in the Watchlist, just edit the same and provide the purchase info to view them in the Holdings tab. Hope that helps...
69 | Posted by johntreagan | 28/07/2016 15:35:50
I'm new to Netvibes and just added this widget to my dashboard. It works great except that the middle tab -- Holdings -- doesn't seem to provide a way to add content. What am I missing?
70 | Posted by samhande | 24/05/2016 4:26:16
Never mind, just had to widen the display field!
71 | Posted by samhande | 24/05/2016 4:22:46
Anyway to show stock's percentage change as opposed to absolute dollar change? Thanks for the great app.
72 | Posted by wswain33 | 05/02/2016 5:50:25
Thanks for the quick response. Your recommendation works as advertised. Unfortunately, the preconfigured netvibes widget presents limitations that make it unsuitable for my site. It is, however, one of the more attractive and useful widgets I've seen. Well done.
73 | Posted by jk9 | 05/02/2016 1:19:35
@wswain33, at the moment, Netvibes widgets aren't supporting syndicated instances outside of netvibes pages. However, there's one indirect way to embed a preconfigured widget into the blog page. See below notes if that helps about what you were looking for: Click on the Widget's "Edit" menu >> Click "Share" >> Click on "Grab a link" and copy the URL. Then in your blog page, you can embed an IFRAME with the preconfigured URL as shown in the example link:

Great app for tracking a portfolio. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to render or generate code on the Share/Blog export. I would love to include this on the website of my investment club (with proper attribution, of course). If I could do that, I would upgrade my rating to 5.
75 | Posted by fnikolac | 15/11/2015 0:23:48

Click on "Migrate Info" link found on the bottom of the widget for the instructions
82 | Posted by jk9 | 27/10/2015 19:50:45
@gregstumph: The URL was up and running all the time during the Invalid XML error. I took down today after resubmitting the new widget (2.4.1) pointing it to a different URL.
83 | Posted by gregstumph | 27/10/2015 19:34:41
Where are the "migration instructions" located? And is there a way to restore portfolio data from the "old" widget? Re-entering it will be a pain...
84 | Posted by gregstumph | 27/10/2015 18:25:19
Digging into this a little bit, it looks like the "" URL for your widget got broken; is "not found." Perhaps this is why the "invalid XML" error happens (because no XML is returned from that URL)?
85 | Posted by jk9 | 26/10/2015 16:49:42
I have now resubmitted the widget with a different URL with the instructions to migrate.
86 | Posted by johndavidson | 26/10/2015 5:08:58
This is one of the most useful apps for NetVibes. I wish they'd fix the problem, else migration from time to time is the next best solution.
87 | Posted by jk9 | 26/10/2015 2:21:45
@All Users: I strongly believe that this problem is due to the Netvibes UWA platform issue. Many of my widgets are turning into errors gradually. I can tentatively fix this by changing the URL and resubmitting it. However, there's no guarantee that it'd work correctly unless the original problem is rectified. Besides this, you'll have to keep migrating manually for every re-submit of widgets.
88 | Posted by mutlee | 25/10/2015 12:52:09
Same problem uditan mentioned. Failed on 23-Oct-2015. XML Error: "This widget cannot be displayed because of invalid XML syntax"

Love this app as well just spent 10 mins trying to fix it local, maybe its conflicting with Ublock Origin or NoScript but even turning everything off I still had no luck, says xml error. 5 out of 5 app I highly recommend it.
90 | Posted by jk9 | 23/10/2015 15:29:07
Actually, there's nothing wrong with the widget code or with the hosted location. I verified that all the instances including mirrors are online and responding correctly. It's just that the public widget doesn't seem to be loading. May be it's a problem with the Netvibes widget loader or it might be that this URL is being notoriously censored by Netvibes for some reason. I can resubmit the widget pointing to another mirror, but it'd cause existing user's instances to fail to load and will have to manually migrate. If Netvibes doesn't fix the loader issue, I'll resubmit again.

@All Users: Looks like sourceforge server is still down and could take extended period of time to restore. I myself find it hard to be without it. So, I have decided to move my widgets to a place where I have option to switch to mirror sites. You can continue to use the old widgets (when it is back) as it'd be updated to the live copy until a next major release. New installation of the widget will have the advantage of switching to mirror sites, so the future downtime will be very minimal.

104 | Posted by jk9 | 18/11/2014 16:46:36
@raffijig, based on the yahoo api details, I doubt if it'd be available in the near future.
105 | Posted by raffijig | 18/11/2014 10:21:50
@jk9 No worries thank you for your quick response! Do you know if it will be available in the near future?
106 | Posted by jk9 | 17/11/2014 16:18:46
@raffijig, sry, I think Japanese stocks aren't supported. I tried searching by company name (Shiseido) and I only see US listings (symbols such as SSDOY, SSDOF, etc).
107 | Posted by raffijig | 17/11/2014 11:30:53
Hello, how can I add a japanese stock? exemple Shiseido (4911 jt) but the widget cannot find it. Either by searching on quick add or by editing a stock and changing the ticker. Thank you in advance for your help.

@angelfan: You surely can change the order of the symbols. Click on the Edit icon on the left and select "Move Up" or "Move Down" to move the symbols to the desired location. You can also add a Separator line to group the list of symbols. See a quick demo at:

It would be very helpful to change the order of the symbols in the list.

@antheon: At this point, there are no plans to implement cash account module. Will consider it only if there's significant number of requests.
111 | Posted by antheon | 16/10/2014 23:05:53
Anyway to add cash, so the portfolio total includes cash? Thanks again for great app.
112 | Posted by jk9 | 03/09/2014 2:55:37
@msa2990: Currency code can be obtained from the API automatically based on the symbol. I'll try adding currency code in the portfolio table in one of the next updates.

Great widget - it's near perfect for me, but I miss the ability to distinguish currency in the stock prices. My portfolio contains stocks and funds in US$, Euros and Danish, Swedish and Norwegion Krone, so I can only compare the relative performances. It would be great if you could select the currency for the "Net Value", "Day's Gain" and "Net Gain" columns to see and compare absolute values for your portfolio.

Thanks @dallasbennettrobinson, the first number is the change in points and the number within parenthesis is the change in percentage since the previous day. As you see the 1/100th value of the DOW, the first number shows -1.23 (down by 123 points which is -0.72%).
115 | Posted by dallasbennettrobinson | 26/07/2014 15:04:48
I love this widget. I have a question about it. On Saturday 7/25/14, when showing the Dow Jones average change, there are two numbers: -1.23 (-0.72%). Is the first number for Friday and the second for the week? Thanks for the great widget.

@teesah: Click on the menu image found on the left on the corresponding stock name in the watchlist and select "Delete". Refer online help for details:
117 | Posted by teesah | 21/03/2014 10:19:51
How can you delete a stock?
118 | Posted by jk9 | 20/03/2014 18:43:44
@amorejr: Technically some browsers have limits on the data being sent in the request. That's why I had put a limit of 45 symbol per instance of the widget. I'm not sure if you have hit the limit in your browser or is it just that General slowness from yahoo for all.
119 | Posted by amorejr | 20/03/2014 3:57:46
Is there a limit on the number of stocks I can track? The app seems to stop working after exceed about 43 symbols.
120 | Posted by jk9 | 14/03/2014 15:32:10
Thanks @wtwilson. Even though, it's a valid Yahoo Finance symbol, it seems like some of the index data is not shared by Yahoo. See this link with no data returned back:^BSESN&f=sl1d1t1c1ohgv

Great widget. I like to monitor the Shanghai Stock Exchange A Shares index (symbol 000002.SS) but I get a message 'unable to retrieve details'. Any idea what I need to do to fix that? Buster2
122 | Posted by murphyway | 12/03/2014 9:47:40
That fixed the Option button fine - thank you. Not sure where to go on the other issue but happy to help with some screenshots to illustrate. If you email me kevin (at) I will send a couple of shots to illustrate and see if it is me being stupid.
123 | Posted by jk9 | 12/03/2014 4:53:36
@gregclarke: Sure, that should be possible and will consider in the next regular update.
124 | Posted by jk9 | 12/03/2014 4:52:15
@murphyway: Thanks for the browser info, I was able to simulate your issue and have pushed a fix to correct the menu right away. For #2/3, still I didn't get it. The values shouldn't be in the £ pence. I tried with a stock from GBP and it works fine in my test module with calculated values reflected in £ and not in £ pence. Try removing and adding a new entry.
125 | Posted by gregclarke | 12/03/2014 2:02:38
Is it possible to see total value by stock at current price?
126 | Posted by murphyway | 11/03/2014 22:40:03
Ok - Fast response and thank you for checking. The browser is Chrome version 33.0.1750.149 m and the screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 but the same on my notebook which is 1440 x 1050 and also running Chrome. With the stock list expanded, the options button is always there about 4 stocks down. Struggling on the second and if I take an example I have bought and entered 141 shares of stock x at a price of 1418.4 and current price is 1442. The portfolio shows 1418.4 and 1442 so I can see the decimal point is in the right place. Day gain and net gain are right in £ pence along with cost and current value but hard to read in pence every time. Hope that makes sense.
127 | Posted by jk9 | 11/03/2014 18:30:02
@murphyway: For #1, I'm assuming the options menu overlaps on the quote list only when its expanded. When you click the options again, it should collapse and not overlap with any of the stock in the table. If you still see the collapsed option menu overlapping with the stock table, please share the browser version and screen resolution so I can try to fix that. For #2 and #3, based on the example provided, I'm thinking you have configured that stock with 100 quantities purchased. That's why you see the net gain reflecting 100 times. Both Net and Today's gain is designed to show the amount based on the quantities you have, and NOT on the unit share. Pl see the calculations in the online help manual:
128 | Posted by murphyway | 11/03/2014 10:29:36
Promising and just what I need but seems to have a few issues. 1. The new options button seems to be above any stock entry even if I change the window size. 2. The calculations in the portfolio seem out by 100...for example I can enter a stock bought at 1418 and with the current value at 1480 I can see the increase, but the overall gain seems to be multipled by 100. Even trying entering the bought value with different decimal values does not work. 3. The day gain seems to be a new gain.

Thank you. Yes, if you increase the width of the widget, you should see both % change as well as absolute change. If you are using Netvibes mobile site on a mobile device, you may have to change orientation so that more space is available to show other details. Sure, I'll update the paper icon as soon as I get something better.
130 | Posted by dbsanders | 13/02/2014 23:05:09
So glad I found this, thank you. Any way to show a %-change instead of an absolute change in price? Also it took me quite a while to find how to delete/edit/move stocks in the list. Maybe a pencil icon instead of the paper icon to indicate that clicking there will "edit" something?
131 | Posted by jk9 | 07/01/2014 23:00:25
Thanks, I'll add this request to the features-queue
132 | Posted by vintageveloce | 07/01/2014 18:49:18
Great widget! Really appreciate that you moved and updated it after your server bandwidth issue. 5 stars! One request: I would like to be able to add symbols to the watch list with list separated by commas or some other bulk method. Entering them one at a time is a slow.
133 | Posted by jk9 | 07/01/2014 14:36:01
Yes, as you increase the width of the widget and make room, more fields are displayed in the below order: Volume, Target Price (1-year), Market Cap, 200 day Avg change
134 | Posted by etabeta | 07/01/2014 11:01:47
Very good widget. However there is a field for target price?
135 | Posted by jk9 | 19/12/2013 23:07:27
@drood: Updates won't need reloading entire widget data. The free bandwidth where this widget was originally hosted was exceeded and users were unable to run the widget. So, I had to resubmit the widget with a different server path after moving the necessary media and scripts to a new server.
136 | Posted by drood | 19/12/2013 16:33:07
Gave it 4 since it is free. Updates continue, but require reloading portfolio or watch list.
137 | Posted by jk9 | 12/12/2013 19:58:20
Recently I ran out of the free bandwidth space where this widget was originally hosted. I have now migrated the widget to a different repository and resubmitted the widget to Netvibes ecosystem. If you are still seeing any invalid XML error, you might have to re-add the widget again.
138 | Posted by guyscharf | 12/12/2013 14:57:07
I've been unable to see the widget for several days on netvibes. It gives error "This widget cannot be displayed because of invalid XML syntax."
139 | Posted by patmjt | 19/11/2013 0:52:20
Thanks, I finally saw the toggle button at the left!
140 | Posted by jk9 | 18/11/2013 4:54:11
The easiest way to fix an entry at the moment is to delete and add again with correct details.
141 | Posted by patmjt | 17/11/2013 18:54:19
How do I fix a stock entry?
142 | Posted by jk9 | 08/11/2013 0:38:47
Yahoo Finance API doesn't share the value for ^DJI symbol (contractually restricted). Instead please use ^DJX to get the 1/100th value of ^DJI. I'll try to make this automatic in one of the future updates...
143 | Posted by sspadt | 07/11/2013 16:40:24
How do you add the Dow? I tried adding ^DJI, .DJI, DJI, etc. -- nothing seems to work. Anyone know the answer?
144 | Posted by antheon | 04/11/2013 21:56:49
Thank you!! I missed my google portfolio since the demise of iGoogle. This takes the place!!!
145 | Posted by saintjondoe | 31/10/2013 7:20:22
This is my favorite stock portfolio widget on netvibes. I like being able to track many indexes/stocks at once, being able to mouse over a stock ticker and to see the day's gains/losses in graph form. I messaged the developer and he said that additional features will be added, such as being able to change the order of indexes/stocks and more statistics and data options. I'm looking forward to that!
